DISC is primarily a forum for Veterans, businesses and those involved in the Defence industry to discuss opportunities for growth, sustainable development and innovation on the Sunshine Coast.
Our intent is to:
- Promote the Sunshine Coast as THE ideal location for all innovative industries, not just Defence and in doing so,
- Promote Veteran owned and operated enterprise
- Encourage Veteran employment; and
- Eliminate bureaucratic barriers
We’re not partisan, we’re only interested in promoting fairness and acknowledgement of the value that Veterans bring to the community.
Whether it be through business, volunteer work, industry or directly with all levels of government Veterans provide unparalleled insights, experience and skillsets.
DISC invites discussion and proactively engages political influencers to champion Veteran causes and innovation.
